Hi everyone!

Just a little personal insight into my own experience of traveling for the 1st time on a singles holiday. Hope it gives others courage as I was very nervous!

My personal circumstances changed and suddenly after many years as a couple - I was single again! Whoops ... so what now I thought?

I called Solitair Holidays and they put me at ease as they explained the nature of the holiday and that it was a holiday geared for like minded people wanting to just escape and enjoy new friends on their own terms. I booked my holiday to Morocco that day and felt quite excited.

On check-in I looked for the Solitair luggage labels and saw a few and said hello! This was the start of the best holiday experience I have ever had.

I arrived at the destination and all went smoothly - we where met by our guide and host who made the transition to our hotel easy and friendly.

The whole experience was the best I've ever - meeting new friends I would never have met in my daily life. Our journey through Morocco into the Atlas Mountains and staying in the Sahara desert for a few nights was an experience we all thoroughly enjoyed and camp fire stories and music made the whole experience special. As a group we became firm friends and our host and guide just fantastic.

We came to the end of our 7 night's adventure holiday feeling we could go on for ever but sadly we all said fond farewells and arranged to meet in London the following week.

I can only say this was a great holiday and a life changing experience hence I now act as Editor for Club Solitair!

My advice is 'Take the plunge you won't regret it'!

Just had the best week ever on the Gulet Cruise in Turkey. Captain Senay and his crew looked after us like Kings.

I cannot recomend this Holiday enough.
