I was new to the singles holiday scene. And as soon as I spoke to Samantha at Solitaire the positivity and the way the Xmas 2010 Leamington Spa/Warwick break was sold to me reeled me in. Well the price was good. ;)

It was noticeable that fellow Solitaire Xmas goers at Leamington were very friendly and entertaining!!! There was no age barrier! A lot of us were solitaire virgins!!
I did try to mingle with as many people as possible but when there is thirty five people to cover in just two and a bit days it's a bit tricky.
A couple of us arranged an Xmas day walk and a boxing day visit to Stratford upon Avon which was really great and such a laugh!
It was good to see that some of the guys had brought their cameras to capture the weekend's festivities.
You can always tell when you've had a good holiday when you feel sad to leave
. It was definitely the Solitaire Xmas breakers that made the experience such a great success. As the old saying goes “What you put in is what you get out.”
Thanks to the people that made the break so memorable!! ;0)

I have just returned from a lovely week's holiday at Lord Byron Hotel on Ischia. I had a fantastic holiday and met some lovely people and although it was the first time I travelled alone, it won't be the last.
