North Cyrpus - Hotel Ship Inn
Hotel lovely and staff really friendly. Good clean accomodation - fridge (well stocked with drink and choc/crips/tea/coffee) although a bit pricey, and a kettle in room. Great pool area.
Location wasnt so good. On a busy main road, although once inside the Hotel this wasnt noticeable, but noisy and busy roads to walk alongside into town/harbour (about half hour away). No bars or restaurants nearby. Harbour was best bet for selection of restaurants. Hotel bar/restaurant good although the food on half board basis was fine but became a bit monotonous after a few mornings/evenings. A few miles left out of Hotel was a small resort which offered bars and music evenings - found this on last day !! Definately recommend a visit to Kyrenia Fort, Bellapais Monestary, St Herlion Castle and the Jeep Safari. Cypriate/Belly dance Night very geared towards turkish people but food very good.

For anyone considering the Splendours of Morocco trip I have to say "Just Do It". This is a holiday for the more adventurous and it was all I'd hoped for and much much more. From the bustling "red city" of Marrakech with its colourful souks, the amazing scenery of the High Atlas mountains, to the lush valleys and oases, and the magical starry skies of the Saharan nights. If you are really lucky you might even experience a sandstorm, which was for me the absolute highlight of the week, both terrifying and exhilarating.
I'd like to say a big thank you to Solitair, and to Sian and our three 4x4 drivers who looked after us so well.
I really can't recommend this trip more highly.

Just got back from the Spendours of Morocco holiday and wanted to thank everyone for a great adventure. We had sandstorms to rain to glorious sunshine... what more can you ask for.. Our rep Sian was brilliant and the drivers of our 4x4's(Ahmed. Mohammid & Abdul) really made the holiday smoothly.
Just wanted to say thanks to Solitair for arranging such a great holiday where I have now made many more great friends.

Have just returned from the gullet cruise in Turkey - the most fantastic holiday ever. Wonderfully stress free and laid back, Great food, great crew, geat time.

the gulet cruise is fantastic for relaxing and really chilling. the crew are superb at everything they do and the captains cooking is so fresh, tasty & plentiful. the sea is warm and relaxing. a good way to get to know 7 new people very quickly.
